Designed with entertaining in mind, this stucco home brings design inspiration from Miami to Houston. Located near the Texas Medical Center, the house occupies a corner lot, and is set back substantially to allow the pool courtyard to serve as the focal point of the interiors. of clean geometric volumes that open to a patio directly at the pool’s edge shaded by a dramatic cantilevered overhang. With a nod to the famed monochromatic South Beach Delano Hotel, white stucco and marble define the palette, warmed here with copper detailing and rich, dark interior colors to harmonize the house with its shady, tree-lined neighborhood.
