At this casual restaurant, we use quiet colors, honest materials, and abundant daylight to create an inviting, contemporary interior that’s inspired by nature. Photographic murals of live oaks at larger-than-life scale cover sliding panels that can divide the dining room into intimate spaces. Hung from the high ceiling, we created a sculpture made with “twigs” of milled walnut; it’s an abstract vision of a bird’s nest. Sky-blue walls, walnut paneling, and an earth-toned concrete floor bring the palette of the outdoors inside.
