Carolyn came to DKA in 2011 via several New York and Houston architecture firms where she worked as project architect for residential and commercial projects around the country. She earned a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University and Bachelor of Arts with a double major in History and Studio Art from Brown University. Recently, Carolyn served as statewide coordinator for the Texas Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art administering the John Staub Awards and planning all of the organization’s Houston events. She and her fellow-architect husband Bill Truitt have three children and hope to add a dog to the family in the future.
